Tiny Treasures: My Fun and Whimsical Mini Watercolor Paintings
Sometimes, the smallest paintings can bring the biggest smile.
Over the past few weeks, I have been having so much fun painting a collection of mini watercolor paintings. These little artworks are small in size, but each one has its own personality, character and little story to tell.
I love working on a small scale. There is something wonderfully satisfying about sitting at my desk with a tiny piece of watercolor paper and slowly building up the details. It feels almost like creating a miniature world.
Small paintings, big personality
These mini watercolors are playful, colorful and sometimes a little bit funny. Some feature animals, others have charming little scenes or objects, but they all have one thing in common: they are painted entirely by hand.
I don’t want them to feel too serious. Art can be beautiful, but it can also simply make you smile.
And that is exactly what I hope these little paintings will do.

Each painting comes with its own little frame
To make them even more special, I have framed each miniature painting in a beautiful wooden frame with a mat.
That means they are ready to give as a gift — no need to find a suitable frame or spend time getting everything ready. Just wrap it up and give someone a tiny piece of original art.
Because each painting is an original, no two are exactly alike. You are not buying a mass-produced print, but a little artwork that I painted with my own hands.

A lovely little gift for the holidays
The holiday season is slowly approaching, and I think these mini paintings make wonderful gifts for Christmas, birthdays, housewarmings or simply as a little surprise for someone special.
They are also a lovely alternative to a traditional gift when you are looking for something personal and unique.
A small original painting doesn’t need a huge wall or a large room. These little works can sit on a shelf, bedside table, desk or small nook and add a touch of color and personality to the space.
And because they are small, they are easy to send too — even to art lovers living far away.

Which one is your favorite?
I have really enjoyed painting this little collection, and I am curious to see which ones people are drawn to.
Perhaps you love the funny little animals. Maybe you prefer something colorful and cheerful. Or perhaps one particular painting reminds you of someone you know.
That’s one of the things I love about small original artworks: sometimes a tiny painting can feel surprisingly personal.
I will be adding the mini watercolors to my online shop, and each painting will have its own photographs and description so you can take a closer look at the details.

A tiny original, made with love
These mini watercolor paintings may be small, but they are made in exactly the same way as my larger artworks — with patience, observation and lots of attention to detail.
And perhaps that is what makes them such lovely little treasures.
If you are looking for a unique handmade gift for the holidays, have a look at my collection of mini watercolor paintings. Maybe you will find the perfect little painting for someone special — or perhaps a tiny treasure for yourself.
After all, you don’t always need a big painting to make a big impression. ❤️
