Drawings

My drawings often form the foundation of my other work: studies, observations, and small moments of concentration. With pencil, pen, ink, or charcoal, I explore line, form, and composition. The direct, unpolished quality of a drawing creates a real sense of closeness — you can almost see the looking and searching as it happens.
