Returns & Refund Policy
Right of Withdrawal
When you purchase a physical product from my webshop as a private consumer, you generally have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. This 14-day period starts on the day after you, or a person designated by you, receives the product.
If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact me within this period by email at info@jenniesmallenbroek.nl. After notifying me of your withdrawal, you have a further 14 days to return the product.
The product must be returned in its original condition and, where reasonably possible, in its original packaging. You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the product while it is in your possession.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Custom-made or personalised artwork or products made specifically according to your wishes.
- Online workshops and courses once access to the digital content has been provided.
- Digital products once delivery has started with your express consent and you have acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal.
- Workshops, courses or other activities taking place on a specific date or during a specified period, where the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply.
Returns
If you wish to return a physical product, please contact me first at info@jenniesmallenbroek.nl.
Please include your order number and, if possible, the reason for your return.

Please make sure that the product is packaged securely to prevent damage during transport.
You are responsible for the cost of returning the product, unless the product is defective, damaged on arrival, or I have sent you the wrong product.
I recommend using a tracked shipping service when returning valuable artwork. I cannot be held responsible for a returned parcel that does not arrive.
Refunds
Once I have received and inspected the returned product, I will confirm whether the refund is approved.
If the return is approved, I will refund the amount you paid using the original payment method. The refund will be made within the applicable legal period.
If only part of an order is returned, only the amount relating to the returned product will be refunded.
Where applicable, the refund of the original shipping costs will be handled in accordance with applicable consumer law.
Damaged or Incorrect Products
If your order arrives damaged or you have received the wrong product, please contact me as soon as possible at info@jenniesmallenbroek.nl.
Please include photographs of the product and, if possible, the packaging. I will then work with you to find an appropriate solution.
Exchanges
I do not normally offer exchanges.
If you have received a defective, damaged or incorrect product, please contact me first so that I can arrange an appropriate solution.
Sale Items
Sale items are subject to the same statutory consumer rights as regularly priced items.
A reduced price does not remove your statutory right of withdrawal or your rights concerning defective or incorrectly delivered products.
Original Artwork and Limited-Edition Prints
Original paintings, drawings, limited-edition linocuts and other artworks should be handled with care.
If a product is returned, it must be returned in the same condition in which it was received. Damage caused after delivery by improper handling or use may affect your right to a refund.
For limited-edition prints, the print must be returned in its original condition and properly protected against damage during transport.
Online Workshops and Courses
Online workshops and courses cannot be returned or cancelled once access to the digital content has been provided.
By purchasing an online workshop or course, you expressly agree to immediate access to the digital content and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once access to the content has been provided.
In-Person Workshops and Courses
For in-person workshops and courses taking place on a specific date or during a specified period, the cancellation terms stated on the relevant workshop or course page apply.
